Solar light changed Kesilina’s life

Our ‘Light a Village’ programme has recently brought sustainable solar light to 500 homes in the deep rural areas within Ntchisi, one of the
poorest districts in Malawi. It’s been a huge success for people like Kesilina Chiwoza.

Now Kesilina’s family feels safer after dark, and her children can do their homework. Kesilina is also able to make extra money from people coming to charge their mobile phones from her solar supply, so she can now make ends meet and provide for her family.
