My name is Dickens Nyangore and I live in Muhuru Bay. I live with my seven siblings and our mum. My dad died in 2001. My family's finances are not very stable but we have something to eat at the end of the day. I farm now but I used to work in a shop in Nairobi. I had to leave as people robbed everything in the post-election violence. I'm trying to find a way forward.

We share things as a family and need to spend about 10,000 Shillings a month to get by. Recently, my mother was seriously ill and we couldn't pay the medical bills. We had to find other options and could not buy all the medicines she needed.

When I heard about sunnymoney I was seriously excited. I love the environment and solar can help to preserve it. I was one of only five people chosen from this area to go to Nakuru for training. That was beyond my expectation.

My customers know we have a good product. They keep asking 'are the products ready?!' They will make savings if they follow our instructions. My customers, like my family, will see a big change- a brighter future.
