A group of recent graduates, who run a club night called 'Thank Funk it's Friday' have decided to do a fundraiser for SolarAid at Blag Club in Notting Hill, London, on Friday 6th February.
Do come along and join us at 'Thank Funk it's Friday' where DJs will be playing funk, soul and jazz. Tickets are £5 on the door and all profits will go to SolarAid!
For more information about the club, please go to: www.blagclub.com/nottinghillgate.htm

Two SolarAid fans, Chris Drumey and Rob Bell, will soon be embarking on a European-African adventure. They are taking part in the Budapest to Bamako Rally- the world's largest charity rally- to raise money for SolarAid.

The 'Green Knights' will be driving 8,314km, through 9 countries in just 15 days! And they will be taking their knight suits with them all the way!
Although it will be a tough and demanding adventure it will all be worth it. The team have chosen to support a village in a remote region of Mauritania, where there is no mains power. The knights hope to improve the lives of the villagers by helping them leverage the most abundant, sustainable and cost-free resource they have...the sun. They will be delivering and setting up a solar lighting system so that villagers can work, study or run businesses after sundown. The team will also be taking solar cookers to provide a safer and more sustainable means of cooking.
Please support the Green Knights in their endeavour and help SolarAid, by sponsoring them here www.justgiving.com/knights_vs_nights
Thank you!
