SolarAid promotes solar energy in Africa in Sunrise Field at The Big Chill
A team of 22 volunteers were at the Sunrise Field at The Big Chill Festival last weekend. They were there to tell festival-goers all about the charity and its work.
Over the weekend the volunteers showed how SolarAid's micro solar panels work, demonstrated the solar lanterns, and they also hosted a geodome (aka the 'Sun Hut') where they offered a solar-powered mobile phone charging service (all money raised went to SolarAid projects in Africa!) and they entertained people by playing music from the unique solar stereo, powered by their 300w solar system!

It's been a busy summer for SolarAid. During the previous weekend, four SolarAiders were also at WOMAD in Wiltshire. Here are some photos:

How can i participate in this program am a Nigerian looking for something to do to get money thanks
I have developed a potable solar water heater that holds 5 litres,it is very reasonably priced at R 187.00 FOB Durban
South Africa.
I require people to buy and market them in Africa, there is no minimum order requirement, so it would be easy to get started.
