SolarAid went along to another festival over the bank holiday weekend.

This time we were at Shambala, in Northamptonshire, with our partners Firefly Solar. SolarAid's Head of Fundraising, Ruth Mantle, was there to spread the word about the charity and its work.

Good work.Ja! The future is solar for Africa.
We are working towards a project in Venda land, SA.
Ma Venda lies between ~SA & Zimbabwe. Am hoping to raise funds to get a solar rig installed at a technical college made available to me for the purpose of training locals in the finer points of solar.
I have aboard this end Solar Tony from Southwest Solar solutions ( the friendly face of anarchy in the UK, he is the David Bellamy of the Solar world )
who is willing and ready to take up the challenge if funds can be made available. Africa end I have been asked in by the Venda shaman.. so that's good then isn't it. The Venda are important because they, like the "Hopi" are a peaceful tribe, respected for never fighting a war of any kind.If you want to be involved, or help or just be kept in the loop, that will be good. I met you guys anyway this wet weekend last... in a field in a storm in Cornwall. Duncan here, from Duncan and the nobodies. Bless ya for your efforts.
